Bácaro's Bar Manager, Kenny Kodys, was raised in Westminster, MA. While attending Suffolk University in Boston, Kenny suffered a knee injury, which stopped him from playing college basketball, but it opened up doors for him to pursue other interests. 

Kenny started his bartending career at the Beacon Hill Tavern in downtown Boston.  At the Beacon Hill Tavern Kenny learned to really enjoy the fast-pace and high-volume of the service industry. 

In 2003 after visiting a friend at CU Boulder, Kenny realized that Colorado was the "place for him" and moved to Boulder shortly after his visit.  After several bar and restaurant management jobs in Boulder, Kenny came across Bácaro.  Within 6 months of working at Bácaro, Kenny became the Bar Manager.  Since joining Bácaro, Kenny has found passion for food, wine and especially "mixology". 

Experimenting with new ingredients and liqueurs is what Kenny does best, which is reflected in Bácaro's unique drink menu.  In July of 2005 Kenny created an amazing summer drink called the Peach Velvet, winning him the ‘Colorado Bartender of the Month' award as well as placing him the runner-up for the National Sapphire Gin Cocktail Contest.  Kenny has become a very dedicated and important part of Bácaro's team!
