Floor Manager John McCaskill is a born and 5th generation native of Colorado. A life long student of business and athletics, John earned a Bachelor's in Business Management, with an emphasis in Human Resources and Economics, while running Track & Field at Mississippi State University. An entrepreneur by spirit, Mr. McCaskill engaged in his first company, Power and Speed Camp (an after school training camp for high school athletes) immediately following a stint as District Manager at Waste Management Inc.
From the period spanning 2002-2006 John has honed his sales and communication skills, first as a Marketing and Promotions Trainer for Cydcor ICL and later as a Senior Corporate Account Manager for AT&T Wireless. Since 2006 a primary focus for John has been on the development of his business services firm, Capital Concepts, LLC. Capital Concepts, LLC is a consultative firm focused on providing branding, managerial and sales advice to start-up and emerging companies.
Spanning the lifetime of his career John has consistently been involved in the restaurant and hospitality industry. With humble beginnings as the Assistant Manager of a then little known sandwich shop called Quiznos, in the mid-1990's, through numerous serving and bartending positions. Most recently, as a Bar Manager, John assisted as in the successful launch of Cantina Laredo, Boulder (a CRO, Inc., establishment). John's dynamic personality and laid-back charisma have allowed him to bartend and cater for high profile events such as Barack Obama's Presidential campaign, "An Evening with Maya Soetoro", and Mark Udall's incumbent bid for Senator of Colorado, 2009.
John's role as Floor Manager at Bacaro is to utilize his broad industry experience and growth-minded work ethic to continue to develop Bacaro into a dynamic, high performing establishment. |
